A dedicated family man, Neil Witney’s main inspiration for his illustrations career is his Mother; weekends were spent cooking family feasts or gardening with his Father, Neil chose the former. From here Neil carved his career working his way up through the ranks across a number of London based restaurants before moving to work alongside award-winning restauranteur Will Ricker.

Chef Witney worked alongside Ricker for over 11 years, working across several key London institutions including E&O, Eight over Eight and the renowned Bodega Negra. As well as being part of the opening team of Bodega Negra New York. The Ricker years saw Witney as recognized industry benchmark, creating critically acclaimed Pan Asian and Mexican inspired menu’s. In addition to spending time in London, Witneys career has seen him spending time in Mexico City, Exploring the culture and dining trends, always enjoying going off the beaten track to find hidden gems and new ingredients.

Chef Witney has also worked at a series of exclusive pop-ups catering for society’s elite from His love of travel and new opportunities is what led him to Dubai to launch the first Poco Loco, a vibrant, yet sophisticated Mexican-peruvian restaurant, Located on The Beach opposite JBR.

Outside of the kitchen and his several global projects Witney lives with his Wife and three children, raising the family just outside of London, he is an avid gym goer and a big supporter of the burgeoning organic juice bar market.
